Clark Wrestling Period Two

For those of you that have been waiting for this i am sorry that it has been taking so long. Each period takes over an hour to upload (i don't know why) and since i am not at my own home doing this i can only get my children to behave for one upload. But here is period two of the crazy match.

Another intersting fact is that both Sam and Jed had sweatshirts made for this. Jed's said: Jed The Neck Braker Clark and Sam's was: Sam El Vaquero Loco Clark.

Their children also had new shirts that all said "Go Dad!" Sam's girls' were written in purple and Jed's boys' were written in red.

Clark Wrestling Period One

Well, it has been talked up and finally happened. Before you watch the video know this: I don't think either were trying too hard. And yet, they were sweating and panting when it was over. The scoring was not based on actuall points but on how much people donated towards whoever they wanted to win. I positioned myself on the mat so that no one could walk in front of my camera, but Owen wanted to watch the match through the lenz and that made for a few bumpy moments. I also acidently sat by the two wrestlers from South that were acting as Jed's coaches. They get pretty loud during the match.

Before it started Frank, the ref, said a few words about his boys. He stated that they have been wrestling since they could walk and although neither will admit it Bret could always take either of them. That got a laugh out of the croud (at least out of those that know Bret.).

This is the first period. Due to crying children and time limits the second and third periods will appear on the blog tomorrow.

When i told Sam i was going to video tape the match he informed me cameras were not allowed in the gym. I guess i forgot to mention that i was going to post it on the internet because then i'm sure he would have been ok with it. :)

First Food

Ed tried food for the first time. It went well, but every time since then he won't open his mouth. So we trick him into opening his mouth and then he gags on the food. So, i'm not sure he is ready for solids, but we aren't giving up. He hates his bottle and if i ever want to have a life again my only hope is rice cereal.

Spoiled Boys

As i recall, Dad would never let dogs come in the house. Now, he not only will bring them in for Owen, but will bring them over to our house for the boys.
Anytime Owen says "ride snowmachine" or "ride smokers" Dad drops everything he's doing and takes him. Grandchildren have definatly got the best of everything.

A team of four

And now the newest stunt our father is attempting: four horses on the sleigh.

Luckily we know people who are just as stupid as dad that are willing to risk their lives to help with the scheme. Dad placed Brody in charge of the rear team.

Then handed the lines for the front team to Brent.

Here you can see that amazingly they made it out of the yard alive.

Going up the hill didn't seem to be a problem.

And then they returned with just Dad holding all four lines. And now for the best part of the story. During the part where they were up on the hill, away from camera view, the blonde horse started acting up. Dad leaned down and smacked her on the butt and in return she kicked both hind feet up and almost hit both dad and Brody. As Brody put it "i almost got my ears pierced." Then she took off and both Dad and Brody fell off the sleigh. Luckily Brent was there to grab the lines and stop the teams. The craziness won't stop here. Next they are planning on going to Harshbarger's to try out this new fun game. July and Chip, Tuff and Buff. I just think it will be amazing if they can pull it off without causing major damage. Especially since Tuff and Buff haven't been worked since the mules were born.
