Ziva had her puppies on Friday, December 4. First thing Saturday morning Owen said we had to go visit them. There are 6 puppies (only 5 in this picture because Owen is holding one when i took it).

Ziva is a great mother. Jamie, however, is ruining things for her by trying to steal the puppies. Dad has Ziva and the pups locked in the saddle barn to keep Jamie out.

Owen was so excited to hold the puppies, but would not get in the bed with them.

He kept calling Ziva a "big puppy" with "little puppies" cuddling her. :)

Dad brought one of the pups into the house for Owen because it was so cold in the barn. Owen was sad when it had to go back out, but when we told him the mommy needed the baby he was ok with it.

How many times did dad tell us no animals in the house? Yet, when a grandkid wants a puppy to come in he runs right out to get one. This puppy that Owen is holding is a female. Then again, so are the other five.

Turkey Day

Happy Thanksgiving to all! And what would the holiday be without a picture of Carson stuffing his face. I'm sure he wouldn't appreciate this picture on the internet, but i love him and hopefully that will be enough to keep him from hurting me.

Carson, Ott, Hans, Zack playing pool.

Granny read Owen books -- lots and lots of books.

She also cuddled Ed -- lots and lots of cuddles.

New Jammies

Owen's favorite place to play is in the closet. On this day he wanted Edgar to come and play with him.

The boys got new pajamas. Ed's are cute and cuddlily. Owen's are soft and he loves them. He refuses to take them off and cries when i tell him that they are dirty and we have to wash them before he can wear them again.

Although this might look a little scary, Owen is actually very careful with his brother. He wants Ed involved in everything he does and i don't think Owen could be a better big brother.

Owen and Kael

It always surprizes me that Owen and Kael are the same size, especially since they are a year apart. I wanted to video Owen trying to play with Kael because it was rather interesting. Kael just wanted his mom and kept running away so Owen would chase him down and grab him. Kael didn't like that very much and would cry. I couldn't get that on video though because I wasn't fast enough with the camera when it was happening.

Dusty's Birthday Party

Dad found some shrimp in his freezer and decided to have a party. We named it "Dusty's Birthday Party" and with each bite we thought of our dear Dustin and how much we missed him. Ok, maybe we thought more about how good the shrimp tasted, but we do love Dusty and hope everything is going great with him.

Rhet held Edgar all night. Eventually Ed fell asleep and then Rhet fell asleep too. It was very cute.

Reading Books

Owen loves his younger brother and reads books to him all the time. He will sit down in the chair and pat nexdt to him saying "baby" until i put Ed in the chair. Then he will point out all the animals to Ed and talk to him. It is so cute and i love watching it.

Halloween Fun

We decided to paint our pumpkins instead of carving because i thought Owen was a little young for knives. It turns out Owen loved painting and we are going to make it our tradition.
I promise he is wearing a diaper and isn't naked. Afterwards he took a bath and the water was gross!

This was our practice run on getting dressed.

Grandpa gave the little lion lots of candy.

Here is a bat (Cutter) a vampire (Aubri) and a cowboy (Kree) that came trick-or-treating.

A Tiger (Cutter) came too.

Ed was cute little pepper.

Grandma Clark handed out apples with her candy and to my surprise Owen was more excited about the apple than the candy.

I'm sure you will admit that this is the cutest lion you will ever see!

The Second Birthday Party

These are all the Reid cousins.

Owen is lucky that so many people love him and want to have birthday parties for him. Saturday we went to Mom's and she gave him some presents. We also went to Granny Reids for another party. She made Owen an airplane cake.

Then we played for a while.

Ed's OK!

Edgar went to the doctor and checked out ok! we are so excited to know that in just a few more weeks he won't have any more problems with his breathing.

Bath time is more like play time at our house. Owen brings his animals in one at a time to the bath tub and since he has about twenty animals it takes a while. Ed loves the water and kicks and smiles the whole time he his bathing. Owen loves to help wash Ed. I put some soap on O's hands and then he rubs it on Ed's belly. After Ed is clean i get him out and Owen gets into the baby tub. Then we wash Owen. The whole experience takes about an hour and it is really fun. (i tried to upload the video of bath time, but it won't work so i will try again later.)

Owen's Ashton Birthday Party

Last Saturday we had a birthday party for Owen, Colter, and Talon. There were 41 candles on the three cakes and that created a lot of smoke. We had to open a window. Owen got a semitruck from his dad, a rope and some candy from Grandpa, and toy lions from his mom. Zak brought him some goldfish and he ate them right up.

Tomorrow Ed has his checkup appointment for the laryngomalacia (his breathing problem). i think he is much better and will check out ok.

Both the boys have had a terrible cough and are using a breathing machine, but it is helping and i am sure they will be better in no time.

Harvest

Owen's life is ruled by tractors and trucks. Luckily most of those things can be found just outside our house. And even luckier is that Carson works with trucks and we get to visit him every day. So i guess everything is good. PS. Janell sure looks look driving truck. :)

WARNING!

I don't like blogs. Therefore be warned that this will very rarely be up to date. I am only doing this so our wonderful Tucker can have pictures of his great friend Owen. Do not expect great thoughts written on this blog, they will usually be random. Do not expect great spelling and know that if you ever comment on how badly I spelled something you are no longer welcome to visit this blog. Enjoy.
